Encourage KRAV certification for restaurants

The Swedish organic certification KRAV have recently launched an initiative to inform and help restaurants that want to learn more about the KRAV certification. Few restaurants still seem to have taken the steps towards more organic products and sustainable ways regarding waste disposal, choice of electrical power and cleaning agents etc.

The food industry is changing rapidly to meet the increased demands on sustainability, but restaurants seem to lag behind.

At Debaser, our KRAV certification has also been a strong competitive advantage, increasing the value we provide to customers while improving the experience for our employees.

To achieve the large scale transition that is necessary to make the restaurant sector sustainable, more restaurants need to follow. Not only for environmental reasons - but also to develop and future-proof their businesses.

Therefore, we think it's time for Visita, the trade organization for Swedish restaurants to encourage their members to learn more about organic and sustainable products and ways . Here are two concrete suggestions how Visita could make this could happen:

1) Write about the KRAV organic certification for restaurants in the newsletter. Make use of the new material launched by KRAV in April 2019.

2) Contact KRAV to see how you can collaborate to encourage more restaurants to learn more about organic products and sustainability.

Agree to this campaign to show your support - and if you work in the restaurant sector, think of all the upsides for the future and your business a KRAV- certificate actually means and please do joint the tribe.
